Annet Mahendru
Mahendru is a mother of Russian origin who was born in Afghanistan. Mahendru is fluent in German Russian and English and also speaks French Persian and Hindi. Her parents are Russian as well as Indian. When she was 11, she created a choreography that earned her a slot on German television as a beautiful Russian snow maiden that turns into an energetic Indian dancer. Her high school graduation was at the age of 11 in New York and received a Bachelor of Arts in English at St. John's University. She studied acting classes in the HB Studios, but then moved on to pursue improvised comedy at the Groundlings School. Her parents were a Hindu and Indian father, Ghanshan K Mahendru, an Indian father, and a Russian mother Olga. She moved with her father to New York's East Meadow York at the age of thirteen year old. She stars in FX's The Americans alongside Matthew Rhys. Television actress best known for her portrayal of an ex- KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova on FX's The Americans. She played a recurring character in Fox's The Following, and NBC's The Blacklist.
